Can a colonoscopy procedure cause severe hip and leg pain?

Unlikely, but...: Conceivably, an abscess in the pelvis can cause your symptoms, but very unlikely to be caused by a colonoscopy, more likely found by it. If you are concerned, a ct of the abdomen/pelvis may be indicated, especially if you are having fevers and had diverticulosis on your colonoscopy, but let your doctor know this is going on.
