No antibiotics : I assume you are wondering if you need prophylactic antibiotics prior to colonoscopy? The answer is No. This is an issue that has been debated back and forth for several years but the most recent guidelines are that patients with orthopedic implants do not need antiobiotics before colonoscopy.
