NAMI: I would go online to the site for: nami, which is the national alliance for the mentally ill, to see if there is a someone they can recommend. Also, most community mental health centers have psychiatric care. You may also check with a university where there is a connection with a medical school. Good luck.

Variable: The "best way" may depend on your relationship with your employer, contractual allowances for medical appointments, and whether your company is large enough to have a human resources department. Many companies also have employee assistance program as a first-line intervention for people needing help. Find psychiatrists through your local psychiatric association or your insurance plan.
