Doctor can evaluate: If presuming it is not just fat (which is not "hard", a hard tummy usually means there is something inside that is not supposed to be there. A primary care doctor can evaluate, and refer to specialists if needed. An ultrasound scan or a ct scan may be needed, if there is a big liver or other large mass found on exam.
