How long ago?: How much time since the filling, and how long have you been on antibiotics? Your dentist should definitely be following you and deciding if further treatment is necessary. Are you otherwise healthy? No reason for an inability to heal?

May need root canal: A temporay filling suggests you had a very deep cavity and a temporary filling was placed instead of a permanent one. The lump suggests the formation of an abscess. See your dentist for a root canal and crown to save the tooth.

Throbbing pain: If you have throbbing spontaneous pain it is for sure that you would need a root canal to save the tooth.

Antibiotics: Antibiotics will limit spread of infection from an abscessed tooth, but not cure it. The deep cavity, choice of temporary rather than permanent filling, continued pain, & lump, all indicate a full blown abscess. You probably need root canal treatment and a crown. Please see your Dentist immediately, and ask about referral to an Endodontist, a root canal specialist.
