A member asked:

I've recently been experiencing panic attacks, should i see a family doctor or a therapist for treatment? i'm not sure if there is something wrong with physically that would cause the attacks.

See both: If you've not had a physical recently, please see your family physician for this. You're right that some physical conditions may predispose to panic attacks. Stop caffeine, and if you're also on other stimulants, speak with your physician about those. Please also see a therapist about your anxiety, and try not to only use medications for panic attacks (although they can definitely help!).
