It depends: Lasik, lasek, icl implantation and cataract surgery generally take around 20 mintues and are ususally performed with mild sedation and topical anesthesis (numbing drops). Retinal surgery or eye muscle surgery may take longer and sometimes is performed under general anesthesia.
