It depends: Lasik, lasek, icl implantation and cataract surgery generally take around 20 mintues and are ususally performed with mild sedation and topical anesthesis (numbing drops). Retinal surgery or eye muscle surgery may take longer and sometimes is performed under general anesthesia.

Varies: Depends on the type of surgery. It can take a few minutes vs. Up to hours for complicated cases. Also varies if you included preop time vs. Actual in the operating room time. Most eye surgery is outpatient based.
