Have same gallbladder polyps for 6 years in those years one grew from 4 mm to 6.5 and i am opting for removal how likely would this be gallbladder cancer i am 46?

Signifiicant: Get the gall bladder removed as soon as possible , incidence of malignancy is significant, bigger the size of polyp greater the chance of malignant transformation speak to your surgeon male 7.1 % of being malignant in female is less.

Low probability: Gallbladder polyps are typically stones that are forming in the wall of the gallbladder. Gallbladder cancer is very rare. I would recommend not worrying too much about the possibility of gallbladder cancer. You say you are scheduled to have your gallbladder removed. They will test the gallbladder after it is removed. The pathologist will give you a report.
