Overuse: The most likely cause is median nerve malfunction due to severe overuse. If you haven't had prior similar problems, then your symptoms should gradually resolve, tho this may take several weeks. But if your symptoms are worsening, seek medical attention promptly because then something other than overuse is occurring.
