I had lumbar tap. no ms, after 1year more lesions in the scord one in the brain. should repeat the puncture?

Not a matter for : Self diagnosis. You should discuss the resuilts of the imgaing studies with your doctor and come to a joint decision about repeat lumbar puncture. Ms is a clinical diagnosis based on history, physical findings, imaging and lab studies.

Prob low value: This would likely be of little value.

More evidence: Appears you have a pattern on the MRI suggesting this is indeed multiple sclerosis. Would also check a cervical spinal cord MRI. LP not necessary if MRI picture is changing. If still some uncertainty, get a second opinion.
