A member asked:

I have brain lesions and my spinal tap was positive for ms but, i was told inconclusive should i seek another opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CONFUSING: If you have a positive MRI of brain, and a spinal fluid profile that is diagnostic, I am not sure why the term "inconclusive" was voiced. It maybe that the doc has little comfort with how to handle ms, and that is ok. Yes, seek a second opinion, and maybe to further confirm diagnosis, get views of spinal cord in neck. If it is felt that you have ms, start treatment asap, as waiting is risky.
