Don?t understand do wisdom teeth have to be pulled?

Maybe: It depends on whether the teeth which are the third set of molars in the mouth are impacted or not. The alignment and crowding can also determine the need for extraction. If the teeth are erupted and in good alignment, they can be retained if properly maintained. If impacted there are different views on extractions. Most dental personal would have them removed so cysts don't form.

Lack of space: Extraction of 3rd molars or wisdom teeth is indicated for diferent reasons: poor hygiene, bad position, cyst fromation, pain, swelling and to avoid problems on other teeth.
