Different sites: Uti is infection in the urinary tract, that is urinary bladder, uretes and kidneys.But prostate lies around the urethra and it can get infected in men and gives rise to symptoms and treatment for utis and prostatitis is different as you need to treat prostatitis longer periods than utis.
