Fatigue, dehydration: Probably the most likely causes for muscle cramps is either fatigue or dehydration. I say several cases in the first football game of the season in the fourth quarter usually if you are not in optimal shape or you havent taken enough fluids the muscles will cramp. Better to try to avoid the problem in the first place.
