You're just lucky: You just got the genes for both, and you'll probably pass them on. Some people with the two also have anxiety. Chadd.Org has lots of info on accomodations you may need if the adhd causes you problems at work/school and things you can change if it interferes with relationships or other activities of daily living. Medications work for adults, as well as children. Adult psychiatrists treat adhd.

No real link: No, adhd does not cause "giftedness"- but it doesn't prevent it either. Individual variation accounts for this combination of traits. There is more to you than just these 2 traits however, so be intent on developing your full self.
