Do wearing contacts contribute to eye pressure?

No: Contacts fit over the cornea on the tear film, thus should be slightly moveable (eye care provider to check for proper curvature fit). Eye pressure is typically measured through the cornea, so contacts could affect the reading. A new contact lens pressure monitor has been developed.
