What are the other reasons to have high pressure in the eyes besides glaucoma? consider the eyes "normal" other than high prescription for contacts

There are certainly reasons other than glaucoma for increased intraocular pressure. Some meds can cause it, head trauma ,brain tumors, other diseases. However, with a "normal" eye other than needing contacts and an otherwise normal physical exam, glaucoma would be most common cause. Talk to ophthalmologist about if he/she has concerns about other health problems that could be cause...
