Sure: There are certainly reasons other than glaucoma for increased intraocular pressure. Some meds can cause it, head trauma ,brain tumors, other diseases. However, with a "normal" eye other than needing contacts and an otherwise normal physical exam, glaucoma would be most common cause. Talk to ophthalmologist about if he/she has concerns about other health problems that could be cause...
