Agree w Dr. Khanna: Trichomoniasis is an std caused by the trichomonas vaginalis parasite. Up to 70% of people w trichomoniaisis infection are asymptomatic.A trichomoniasis vaginalis parasitic infection can lead to greenish-yellow, malodorous vaginal discharge (which is sometime frothy). Women may have pain w urination, redness, burning ; itching of genitalia.
