Many and different : No two cases of lupus are exactly alike. Signs and symptoms may come on suddenly or develop slowly, may be mild or severe, and may be temporary or permanent.Fatigue and fever, joint pain, butterfly-shaped rash on the face , skin lesions that appear or worsen with sun exposure, shortness of breath, shortness of breath chest pain dry eyes headaches, confusion, memory loss, fingers and toes burnning.

Fatigue, pain: As noted above, his is a difficult question to answer since lupus has been associated with virtually every organ system. Of all the symptoms that are seen in lupus, fatigue and joint pain are the most common (but also are seen in many, many other conditions). The one symptom i find unique to lupus is photosensitivity: in form of rash or increasing fatigue.
