Bone regeneration: Once the infection has entirely cleared bone will begin growing back. It takes about 6-8 weeks for bone to fill, up to 6 months for it to mature. An x-ray at the completion of y9our root canal treatment and a follow-up film at your 6 month check-up should show progress.
