Irrelevant: Heavy legs occur independently of whether you have 4, 5, or 6 lumbar vertebrae. What counts is what is the state of the spinal cord and the nerves going from the cord to the legs. Aside from a competent neurological exam, an MRI scan is much better diagnostically than an x-ray.
