How can an overbite and a cross bite be corrected?

Orthodontics: Some can be done with interceptive treatments such as palatal expanders and active appliances but in more difficult cases braces are the best bet. Talk to your dentist or orthodontist for treatment options.

Orthodontics: Cross bites on one or more sides of your mouth are correct by expanding the jaw. If you are an adolescent the dentist will place a rmovalbe or cement in an appliance to widen the jaw. Braces normally follow the appliance to continue moving teth in to normal position.

Orthodontics: That's what orthodontists do all day long every day. Depending on severity there are many treatment modalities. See a qualified orthodontic specialist (not a gp who dabbles in tooth movement) to asses severity of your malocclusion and prescribe the best rx plan for hour individual needs.
