Affect your spelling: How much beer? 5 or more for man, 3 or more for woman (built differently, metabolize alcohol differently) counts as binge. Acutely stresses liver, may cause alcoholic hepatitis, alcohol poisoning, but liver recovers better than heavy daily use. Binges can cause bad judgement, e.g. Accidents, fights, rapes, etc. Can lead to alcoholism, chronic liver disease, including cirrhosis.
