Many things: It could be trauma from the doctor needing to use excessive pressure to remove the teeth. Like a traumatic ulcer. It could have been that you bit your cheek or tongue while you were numb. Or it could be you are lucky and got a herpetic type sore.

Oral trauma: Often during wisom tooth removal, the trauma can lead to mouth ulsers. If you have had cold sores in the past you could be getting the same virus in other areas of the mouth. Make sure you let your provider know about the problem and have it checked.
