Is it possible i fix my overbite without closing the gap between my teeth?

Orthodontist: An overbite can be fixed with orthodontics and regarding not closing the gap between the teeth, i'm sure the orthodontist can do that but you need to go to the orthodontist and make sure you convey your desires to the doctor.

Yes: Moving teeth is sometimes the easier part. Retention is harder especially keeping a spaced closed. If you have a space between your 2 front teeth and want to keep it because it is part of your "character" or feel it will change your smile too much, i'm sure the orthodontist would be happy not to have to close the space.
