What is done for nose ring infections?

Remove ring: First you have to remove the ring. If the area of redness is not too large it may resolve on its own. If it is large you may try triple antibitoic over the counter, but you may need anoral antibiotic depending on the size, the presense of pus etc.

Need medical eval.: A number of types of bacterial infections are possible (red,swollen, warm, tender, painful w malodorous drainage).
