A member asked:

Is paracetamol more effective than ibuprofen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Paracetamol is same is Acetaminophen ( aka tylenol (acetaminophen) ). Effect/efficacy of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen is individual and depends on your genetics and pain type. Generally there is no supeiority or inferiority. In some specific instances Ibuprofen will be preferre due to a anti inflamatory effect.
