Advil + Tylenol (acetaminophen): No need since they have different mechanisms of action and no serious interactions. with each other. Alternating them every 4 hours works for high fever in children because the interval between doses of ibuprofen should be 6-8 hours, but the interval between doses of paracetamol can be every 4 hours. That way, the appropriate interval for ibuprofen is maintained. You may take both every 6-12 hours
