I have an alert low iron saturation and below normal on my ferritin is it safe to exercise and how serious is this?

Anemia: Low iron causes anemia, low red blood cell count.. Since the red blood cells carry oxygen, you may feel tired and more short winded with exertion. The condition itself would be serious depending on how low the blood count is and what is the reason for the low count. You should discuss evaluation and treatment options with your doctor.

Anemic?: Not enough space to fully explain, but is your hemoglobin low? That is what really matters . Are you exercising already? If so, and no symptoms, you can likely continue but do need to follow up with you r doc on why your iron stores are low.
