Be sure to use some artificial tears for irritation and if the hemorrhage is accompanied by any other symptoms, see your ophthalmologist.

Time: A burst blood vessel (conjunctival) is like a bruise and it takes time for the blood to be broken down and reabsorbed. Retinal burst blood vessels may need treatment to prevent sequelae.
