Oral thrush: It is likely a candida yeast infection. It is not dangerous. See a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Geographic tongue: If the white coatings are surrounded by red areas such as in this picture it is called geographic tongue. It is safe. No known reason except triggered by some foods, hormonal changes and stress. If it seems to be this then do a search under geographic tongue on google to get more info on it.
