Sometimes: Treatment will reverse memory problems if they had been caused by the excess thyroid hormone in the brain.

No : If learning problems have a disease at their base, then it's not considered a learning disability. Nevertheless, hyperthyroidism can effect brain function and learning. Be sure to get it treated. Once euthyroid, if learning issues persist, see a learning specialist or neurodevelopmental doctor.
