Vitamins are not ok: People feel that vitamins are good for them. The newer data states no so. Multivitamins including vitamin b ( biotin is one of them) are not helpful unless an actual deficiency is diagnosed. Rare health hazards are also suggested from daily use, plus money lost. In transplant, need to have a good reason to take any meds and to check you anti rejection med level to make sure they are not altered.

Water soluble: Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin and there are no known interactions with commonly used anti-rejection medications. There are no known serious adverse effects of high dose intake in non-transplant population. However, if you are eating a healthy, well-balanced diet, I doubt you need to take Biotin supplements.
