What is environmental health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Day to day exposure: This is the study of the interaction between the environment and human health, particularly as it pertains to the effect of exposures (air, food, water) & our bodies. Unlike work-place exposures, toxins in the environment can be pervasive, with constant exposure at low levels affecting many. The young & old tend to be particularly susceptible. Examples of environmental toxins are lead & phthalate.
