What are some ways to cope as a caregiver to alzheimer's afflicted husband?

Tough, but...: First, appreciate that inappropriate behavior may occur, and sleep may reverse timing. Best to be very consistent in times for waking, sleeping, eating, and make no changes to your husband's environment. Leave a nitelight on at night, and maybe a radio softly playing. Contact the alzheimer's assn., and try some of the medicines available for memory loss, as these can help behaviour.

Love him: Do not disagree with him, talk to him about past memories, try to do some activities with him.
