It is possible: Check with your doctor to see what kind bugs cause your pneumonia some of those are contiguous and your baby may not have immunity to it wear a mask to minimize the problem.

Yes possible: Your pneumonia is caused by an infection in the lungs. Determining the underlying cause would be helpful in answering this question. A seven month old has a developing immune system and may be predisposed to infections. Hand washing, a hand sanitizer and wearing a mask are preventive measures to avoid transmission of the infection. Immunizations should be up to date for his age.
