Future wheezing: Previous episodes of bronchiolitis, particularly those caused by RSV, are frequently associated with repeat episodes of wheezing with future viral respiratory infections. Untreated wheezing, or bronchospasm, can lead to bronchitis and pneumonia if not treated aggressively and promptly.

No increased risk!: Viral illnesses are not likely to recur. Not like asthma with is usually chronic and predisposes to pneumonia.
