No: Black lung refers to a lung process related to coal-mining. It can result in lung scarring and rarely massive fibrosis. Pulmonary fibrosis is an auto immune inflammatory process causing scarring and fibrosis in the lung. Most black lung disease is likely related to smoking while working in coal mines. Pulmonary fibrosis is a progressive disorder with a worse prognosis than black lung.
