Dry: Keeping your ear canals dry is critical while recovering from swimmers ear - which is an infection of the ear canal caused by chronic moisture. Prevention of swimmers ear is possible with routine measures to dry the canal after swimming. Once infection is there, aggressive treatment with antibiotics and at times, a wik, will prevent a more serious condition. Avoid water during this healing.
