Yes and no: Chiropractors are trained so if they are confident, then they are good. But with any doctor i'm any discipline, just ask questions and if something doesn't make sense. Ask questions!

Yes: Start with yor dentist first. If youtmj is not moving properly on both sides, some chiropractors are trained to restore normal motion. I make a oral splint for the patient then refer them to the chiropractor to un lock the affected side.

Yes and NO: Chiropractors can help with tmj/tmd symptoms, including tinnitus. But the best chiropractors that i work with have an excellent knowledge of tmd and know better than to manipulate the jaw. So i would recommend if they work had in hand with a tmd specialist and vise versa. Often the chiropractic adjustments may not hold due to the bite needing realignment or a mouthpiece.
