Tinnitus: Tinnitus is complicated and you need to be certain if it's caused by tmj. You need a hearing test and further workup by ent. Tmj is treated conservatively by anti inflammatories (which can exacerbate tinnitus) jaw exercises, night guard and may need evaluation by an oral surgeon

No: get both your ear and TMJ checked for unresolved infection. Get your TMJ checked for joint loading. Sometimes both issues are at play causing the ear ringing.

Probably not: Your tinnitus is likely either due to your TMJ or your ear. If your tinnitus is due to your TMJ and your TMJ is successfully treated, then it is likely that your tinnitus will improve.

Maybe...: Have you had an evaluation by an otologist? (ENT specializing in ear problems). The most common cause of tinnitus is hearing loss due to aging, loud noises, or changes in ear bones (otosclerosis). Once these and other medical causes are ruled out your tinnitus may be TMJ related. If you truly have a TMJ disorder , treatment my help but reduction of tinnitus from any cause is unpredictable at best

No cure for tinnitus: Tinnitus is one of the less common symptoms of TMJ disorders. It is a symptom not a cause. Researchers still aren’t entirely sure what happens in the auditory system to cause tinnitus. See an ENT if you’ve had ringing in your ears for more than 3 months.
