You decide: Since i enjoy good physical and mental health, I have never felt it was my business to force my upbeat attitude onto someone who doesn't. I don't think this is what you mean, either. Experience has taught me that at the end, cool kindness, real physical help, being nonjudgmental, listening, doing what you can to make closure possible / prepare for what may be next are far more helpful.
