Chose from those : You feel will respect the need for confidentiality. Be aware that mental health illnesses are frightening to some people. So, you may have friends who are very supportive and some who don't quite know what to do or say. Don't feel that you are obligated to share all the details. The less anxious you appear about sharing - the less anxiety provoking it may be for your friends. Take care.

NIMH.gov: Go to the NIMH.gov. National Institute of Mental Health) If u r concerned about mental illness for yourself or someone you care about,, you should see a mental health professional now. Mental health problems can be very serious but usually are quite treatable. They also are very person specific. It is hard to generalize so it is best to see a psychiatrist or another mental health profession

Sometimes it can: Some research shows that religious people who also participate in church have better mental health. http://tinyurl.com/n5qvbq8 they may handle stress better, have more well-being and hope, be less depressed and anxious, be more socially connected, drink less alcohol, etc. That said, religious ideas may also be incorporated into psychotic thinking, such as feeling intensely guilty or "bad.".
