Plenty: Water won't make you lose weight by itself, but it's needed for fat to break down. In addition, toxins are stored in fat and are released when fat is broken down. Water helps the kidneys to flush all that away. I recommend 1/2 your desired body weight in ounces/d. For example, if your ideal weight is 120#, drink 60 ounces of water a day.
