Maybe: There is a lot of recent evidence about the link between gut bacteria and anxiety and depression. Studies of mice have found that introduction of certain gut bacteria can induce or eliminate anxiety. It's likely that the same is true in humans and we see that people with digestive disorders frequently also have either anxiety and/or depression. Consider probiotics as well as psychotherapy.
