It depends: Ask your oncologist, they can guide you further. Most patients wait for 2-3 years , minimum...Simply because you want to be sure that your cancer is controlled for the long haul and not come back and make it tough to raise the child.

No cycle at all?: If you do not have a cycle at all (e.g., post-menopause), then no, one cannot become pregnant. However, if you are missing cycles while still of reproductive age, then a common reason for is pregnancy itself. There are many other causes for missing cycles however; if you think you could be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test. Most importantly, consult your physician!

Check hormone level: Before getting pregnant you should be sure that your thyroid hormone level is normal. If you are on thyroid hormone replacement, your dose requirement may increase during pregnancy, so your TSH should be checked periodically during your pregnancy.

A 20-year-old female asked:
Can you get pregnant anytime during your cycle?

See answer: You ovulate 14 days before your cylcle, so if you are regular, you can have a good idea of when you ovulate. You are most likely to get pregnant mid cycle when you ovulate, so the week(s) around ovulation you are at the highest risk to get pregnant, and of course right at ovulation even more so. Unprotected sex right after your period and right before, your chances of pregnancy are very low.
