I have been using nuvaring as birth control for the last 2+ years. my husband and i have decided to try to get pregnant. can i get pregnant the during the first cycle that i remove the nuvaring or will it take some time for my cycle to adjust?

Maybe/not: The ring, like the pill, prevents pregnancy by providing hormones in your blood that prevent egg release. After the ring has been out for a few days your system re-sets to its baseline fertility. That said, the cited average wait for a desired pregnancy is 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year.
