I tracked my ovulation during my last cycle this month, i used different kits just to be double sure, i had sex on the day i got a positive ovulation result and prior. shockingly i didnt get pregnant. i used pre-seed lube to try to make things easy?

Even under the ideal conditions, sex only results in pregnancy in at best 30% of the time. You need to keep trying. Only if after unprotected sex for a year you do not get pregnant, it would be time to consult a fertility specialist.

Steroids in a male partner can decrease sperm counts. Testosterone use can actually make a man permanently sterile. If he has been using steriods for asthma or another medical condition he should check with his doctor to see if they can be lowered. Either way he should get a semen analysis right away.
