Too Much Weight Gain: In general, people are overeating if they are gaining exessive amounts of weight. If you are taking in more calories than you need, you will gain weight. There are times in our lives when weight gain is important or necessary, such as during development or when needing to store up extra calories for certain purposes. Again, in general it is good for adults to maintain stable, healthy weights.

Slow down eating: The faster u eat, the more u can pack in at meal time..So, slow slow slow it down..Have some salads, soups, water, maybe little bread..Give sometime in between, then some more time before main course etc..This gives your brain time to get the signal from your stomach that you got food, thus decreasing hunger drive, lessening food intake... Consult doc for additional help..If needed... Good luck.

It depends: Too much food in general can lead to obesity and a host of problems from high blood pressure to diabetes to heart disease and arthritis. If that's not a problem, occasionally eating a lot of any one food is probably fine as long as you get a good variety of other foods most of the time.
