Wrist bump: Most likely represents a ganglion cyst.

Ganglion: It could be anytihng but a ganglion attached to the tendon can be present and is a common issue. As it hurts get evaluated, most ganglions do not casue pain. You may also have tenosynovitis or inflammatory tissue over the tendons and due to your age it should be evaluated any prior joint issues should be noted too.
